      Zoo is great company to work for, pay could be higher

      Pros

      Zoo is a well run company that truly cares about their employees. My team has excellent management and offers a good work/life balance. Benefits are good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Most employees work in a hybrid or fully remote role.

      Cons

      When compared to other players in the industry, the compensation seems a little low in my opinion. I have received an inflation adjusted pay increase and a bonus every year. In my department, there isn't much room to move up.

      Overall good, but communication is a nightmare

      Pros

      The workload is decent when there are available projects. If you respond quickly, you have chances to receive something. I guess there are drier periods from time to time, but I'm not expecting constant work from a freelance job, thus I'm okay with it.

      Cons

      The main problem I have is with Finance. They didn't send properly the payment for an invoice and the money went back to them. When I've tried to reach them for an explanation and to ask when I will be paid for that particular invoice, they simply disappeared. I've sent countless messages and still no answer. It's been a month and I did not receive my money or an answer. Everyone I've tried to talk to says they will raise my issue with their manager, but I guess this manager is invisible as well since I am still waiting. They do not show respect for someone who has done their job properly and in time.
