Pros

The company takes a lot of pride in its culture, which did not fully resonate with me personally, but I was never treated as an outsider for not enjoying their countless events etc. I believe the team was exceptionally open and welcoming towards all nationalities and did their best to communicate with everyone as per their individual preferences. What I really liked is that you feel pretty heard and feedback is very appreciated.

Cons

The shift system can be tough and especially Japanese-agents have to work a lot more than others, which I believe is not fully accommodated. Since there are few new hires at the moment the company overall seems pretty saturated with employees. it can be difficult to move up in the company and get higher-paying positions.

We do have different tools in place to support our employees. But the most important thing is to reach out to your direct manager immediately and/or People Partner should you have any challenges with the workload, overall work-life balance etc to get the necessary support right away. - Very poop communication between the teams which are very diverged. - Authority driven team where decisions are made by few people. - Inflexible work times.

Hi, I would like to thank you for your feedback. We are always open to hear out our employees, and improve things in our workplace, where it is required. Communication in Yolo is very much transparent: every employee has a chance to participate in our monthly business updates, weekly and bi-weekly catch-ups with direct managers and teams, Q&A sessions with CEO and COO of the company, townhalls, open Slack channels etc. We provide the vast majority of our employees with an opportunity to have flexible working hours, which are in compliance with our existing time off guidelines, and always stated clearly in the employment contract. It's sad to hear that you have felt otherwise. We would gladly hear more about your experience with us, just contact our People team.
