Pros

Beautiful work setting, some genuinely good people at the hourly associate level, ski pass, above-market compensation

Cons

Completely incompetent management, lack of planning and foresight leads to complete chaos and disorganization when busy, Terrible work culture, inappropriate Manager behavior is excused and left completely unchecked. If you are looking for a seasonal job so you can come and ski, this place isn't that bad. If you are looking to make a career out of working here, STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!

Pros

-You meet some great people within the non-management staff -Decent pay compared to other places in Big Sky, however still not decent enough to maintain a comfortable standard of living with the cost of living being so high in the area.

Cons

-The phrase "don't drink the koolaid" when referring to YC is popular for a reason. When you buy into the elitist culture they are perpetuating, you start to think you're better than your peers. It creates for bad blood among employees and departments. -Upper and middle management are only concerned with themselves. Most of them are in their positions because they knew someone or were friends with someone higher up. You will never advance in this company purely based on how you do your job. You have to be part of the "in" crowd in your department. -Employee moral is generally low unless you've dabbled in the aforementioned koolaid. -If your supervisor doesn't like you, tough cookies. You'll be gone at the end of the season for no reason. -They will work you like a dog and not say thank you. -Also, Meldman's son is a creep.
