Pros

- This is a great way to get your foot in the door in a technology career. Wouldn't recommend staying for more than 1-2 years though. - A great way to develop your skills - IF you get on a project and IF you get the right guidance from sr team members. - You get to meet fantastic people: recent college grads that you will fit right in with, and some really cool clients. - There is training included, although it was pretty awful (see more in the "Cons" section). At least it helps as somewhat of a refresher on technical content. - Free coffee, occasionally food is provided, the office looks really cool.

Cons

- The pay is actually pretty low. You might not say that fresh out of college, but after 1-2 years many of us realized we're worth significantly more than that. You get this teeny tiny "raise" after a year that doesn't at all measure up to what you could get if you just found a new job instead. - It can be VERY challenging to get on a project. Almost makes you wonder why we keep hiring when it took so long for some of us to even start actually working. - Projects are poorly managed, leaving clients disappointed. In fact, some delivery managers hardly ever show up to the client site (and rarely do anything either way). - Wipro tries to do everything the "cheap way" - even if it means some of their employees are stuck working insane hours to make up for the others, who are terribly underskilled. - That being said, it seems like Jr team members are never getting the proper guidance and training they need because Wipro won't pay to put the proper amount of Sr members on projects to help them. - Issues with travel costs / relocation fees being reimbursed. This has happened to multiple people on multiple occasions. - HORRIBLE communication! Most of the management team is in India and makes very little attempt to understand the issues occurring in the U.S. - Many of the managers (namely overseas) also seem so detached from us that we're not viewed / treated fairly - basically, expected to move across the country for a project just to fill their pockets, worked like machines, disrespected for needing guidance when just starting out as a jr member, etc. - You'll be pitched on a training program upon joining...which was not very helpful at all. Be prepared to fight the anxieties over worrying if you'll pass some poorly-translated test that in no way fairly represents your skills. - They will pitch you on "not having to relocate", but somehow still seem to pressure people for turning down opportunities that require relocation. - This company sends a lot of useless emails. Might as well send 90% of the company's emails to the spam box.

Pros

1. Good Work Life Balance - They have a single major client in Pune and most of the hires work out of the client's location. The work culture is quite chilled out. 2. Leaves - Long leaves are quite easy to get if you plan in advance. I have experience working in other organizations where getting long leaves unlike Wipro Digital was quite a pain. 3. Less Work Load - The work load is quite less mostly. Of course, there might be some days where you need to put in extra hours but yes that's once in a blue moon.

Cons

1. Wipro Digital is totally different from the way it was portrayed to me during the interview. 2. The term "Digital" is just for namesake, there's no difference between digital and technologies. 3. Stay clear off Wipro Digital if you want to work on new technologies. They have just a single major client in Pune where outdated technologies are used. 4. The most unprofessional client I have ever worked for. Any fine morning you can get an email "Submit your ID card and leave" from the client and you'll be released from the project immediately. 5. Not a good place for Java Developers, the chunk of the work is in the UI layer. You'll be assigned mostly label fixing and alignment correcting UI defects. 6. Very less development work.
