Worst company, do not join

Pros

Apart from insurance, no pros

Cons

I would suggest to rather stay unemployed for a few months, but do not join this organization. I haven't seen worse than this. Non sense policies, 8 hours/day to stay in office. Micro management by tracking your number of PRs through tools like Pluralsight. Forcing everyone to do more commits daily. Managers force to break 1 PR in multiple PRs just to show higher number. Management is so dumb that they think higher PRs = More work done. There is no vision, just cost cutting measures. They are forcing engineers to have 100% test coverage, even if there is no assertion logic in test cases, how baseless. Almost everyone in the org is looking to move out. They provided low configuration laptops to cut costs and expected to run multiple services and deliver quick. Managers just dump work on developers without context and expect developers to figure out themselves. No team work, worst culture, only blame game played.

Pros

The only thing it was good, was design team.

Cons

This company is clearly extremely poorly managed—they make one bad decision after another. I spent two years there and nothing ever moved forward. Everything is chaotic, disorganized, and dysfunctional. They’re rapidly losing ground to competitors and have no clue how to react, stuck in their own ego, believing their brand name still holds weight. They spend way more money monitoring employees and trying to control what we do than actually investing in what matters: the technology and the development team.

Pros

WFH two days a week The Denver office has a nice view Agreeable people within the department

Cons

Poor leadership and communication from C suite. Endless bureaucracy in IT and HR. Cost cutting measures that have deflated benefits, reduced flexibility, and kneecapped projects. Loss of talent and knowledge through voluntary and forced exits with no replacement. General lack of understanding technology and a unwillingness to invest in it. Strong pushback or straight up refusal of any request that has incremental cost regardless of amount or urgency. Incorporating stringent work policies to control workers and save a buck.
