Pros

All stores are supposed to put respect for the individual as a top priority. There may be stores with less than competent management, but the one I work at really shows me that they are glad to have me be a part of their team.

Cons

The pay could be a higher, but then again, I just recently started and I'm making more than I thought I would because everyone says walmart pays bad. Honestly, I'm now earning about 4 dollars higher than minimum wage. Yeah we would all like to earn more and it would be nice, but I know that in 3 months working at Walmart, I was earning a higher hourly rate than my friend who had been at Kmart for over a year. So the so-called "bad" pay could just be part of the economy

Pros

There are just so manyb reasons. I never thought I would be happy at Wal-mart because of a previous experience working there. But I was wrong! They help you out so much. You have to be friendly and happy in order to be successful at Walmart but also at any jobs.

Cons

I hate HAVING to take my FULL lunch. I always want to clock in early. An hour is just too much time.

Pros

I enjoy working for a company that has integrity and treats me with fairness and respect. The Career opportunities are there for those prepared to work hard. The company communicates well generally through an online system called the wire. Wal*Mart strives to keep communication lines open through it's massive workforce. Wal*Mart has many support programs available to help individuals and families and stays ahead of high tech programs.

Cons

Stressful due to understaffing on overnights with new programs requiring more than what can be accomplished with the minimum staffing throughout the company.
