Pros

Great Job Avalibility, Oppurtunities to move up in company when taking care of business. You don't have to slave, but be flexible and take care of everything you are supposed to do.

Cons

Hours are varied. Depending on demand your hours will shift. Holidays will be busy and you will be given more hours than regular times.

Pros

My initial thoughts that it would be a great opportunity to work for a fortune 1 company, but later realized that once you signed on you were basically owned by Wal-Mart.

Cons

I was surprised once I started my position at the newly formed Wal-Mart Apparel Office in NYC that many system where not created. I was also surprised at the leadership within a few of the divisions where strictly there to advance there own careers at anyones expense. It culture there was very unprofessional and degrading, I saw many things I have not seen in my 15 year professional experience it was shocking and to say the least dishearting! I would not recommennd anyone taking a position there in a couple of divisions (Product Execution, Classics Design and Merchandising) these divisions where ran by individuals that had ties with each other from England or Ireland and refuse to allow anyone that did not have this background to share new ideas or take on leadership roles.
