Has a lot of potential to be a better company
Pros
Village Green HAD a great training program and got me on the right track to a successful future in real estate. I have them to partially thank for that. It is a large and tenured company so you know that the company has a strong backbone being almost 100 years in the running. They always hire young driven employees to work with them with which created a fun environment of peers to connect with.
Cons
The training program has noticeably fallen behind in the recent years. Getting a raise is like asking someone for an amputation. Feeling appreciated is seldom within the upper management. Very cliquey! You can accelerate quickly BUT you plateau just as fast. I had to go to another company to move up as they only chose favorites (brownnosers) to promote. If you are good at your job they would rather keep you there instead of promoting you. They are too worried about filling the position you are good at instead of empowering you to a higher and more challenging role. The CEO is sexist and racist. Just being honest... stay away from him and you will do well.
