Pros

Village Green has a great training program. Whatever level you find yourself, there is a class or a module.

Cons

No one really thanks you or appreciates the work you do. I gave up so many days and hours to this company and never complained but still felt the walls were closing in on me. Whenever I tried to reach out outside those walls, I felt like I was a victim of gaslighting. The managers I worked for and with were bullies. I mentioned that one of the pros was the training program. Unfortunately, I found no support with this. I tried to complete the things I needed to and tried to learn but no one helped or offered support. I was on my own. I even tried to complete the things that were required of my learning and still hit walls. Everyone tried to stop my progress and curiosity at every turn.

Pros

Good if you’re a white collar worker

Cons

Hard work does not pay off, Racism is factor, Blue collar workers do not fit to their standards, Your bosses know way less than you but are in charge of you. Worked in maintenance for 2 years with 5 years maintenance experience, HVAC certified, and pool operator license, only to find out i was making less than a new leasing agent who did not even work half as hard as me and no certifications or skills was making more money than me. After pulling on call for 2 months straight working 9 days a week with 1 day off to have a break I was denied my 56 hours of PTO time. If you work here don’t do maintenance be black or do a good job or else you will be terminated.

We acknowledge your post, but we strongly disagree with your opinions regarding equal opportunity employment, our compensation practices and policies regarding separation of employment. Village Green has been in business for almost 100 years, and our business standards and people practices are consistent and compliant with both state and federal employment laws. -Vice President, Southeast Region
