      Pros

      I enjoy working with my coworkers.

      Cons

      There seems to be a lot of employee turnover, especially at properties that are directly managed by Jonathan Holtzman. He micromanages everything and prevents the management staff from doing their jobs.

      Pros

      Great environment and training process. The way they do things just works well. I was really disappointed that the property I was working at was sold and there weren't any other VG properties in my area. After working at two different property management companies it just really reinforces the fact that the Village Green way works.

      Cons

      The only downside was not being close to other VG properties regionally.

      The pay was on par with the industry in the surrounding area.

      Cons

      There is no work-life balance, it's always work! I would leave for work at 8:00 and not return home until 8:00 some days! Upper Management and Regional Mgmt requires a lot of reports to be filled out without respect for the other aspects of your job. When VG enters a new market they try to change the market to fit them without changing to fit the market. Lots and lots of promises, but hardly any follow through! Because the promote so fast, the newer managers do not know what they are doing, causing a lot of confusion between each team. You must demand that management respect you or you will be walked on very easily!
