Pros

Pay was great, higher than average for my industry. Danaher is a great company, and there are a lot of opportunities to learn from some of the smartest people you will ever meet.

Cons

Insane expectations, long hours, very little appreciation for going above and beyond. Working with people around the world, I understand it makes sense to work outside of 9-5, but there is no consideration for that flex. So, if your day starts at 5am in the US because you are meeting with someone in China, your day still ends at 5pm (if you're lucky). I was there for two years and worked with three different Presidents. There was a lot of politics and maneuvering going on behind that scenes that made me question if I could trust my manager and their manager. There were multiple layoffs while I was there, and it seemed like the company was doing fine financially. Videojet was a talent supply source for Danaher when I was there, so a lot of people are looking for a big win so they can move on to bigger and better things elsewhere in Danaher. They have since been spun off into a separate company, so maybe that has improved.

Pros

Office location Some of the colleagues are helpful You'll get to interact with different types of people

Cons

Work given to Bangalore office is always of less importance Process keeps on changing everyday Quality is always ignored, they just want product out! Favourism in all the aspects like on-site, quality work, etc. There are some people who knows how to manipulate manager, they always get what they want and appreciation from manager. Top management in US doesn't care about the lower heirarchy and their voice. Buttering works a lot. Fake promises if you ask for quality work. WFH only for the selected people. Few people in the office directly points fingers at others instead of taking responsibility as a whole. I've even heard derogatory comments made by some in front everyone. There's a guy from onsite location who targets female employees in the Indian office and starts flirting with them even during office hours and pretends as if he is running the project. He can make your life hell. If you are not a vocal person or thinks hard work shows for itself, please don't join here. Start showcasing your work as soon as you join and ask few trivial questions during important meetings(even though you don't care) to impress upper management :). Keep on complaining for small things and consume everyone's time for getting your work done. And don't forget to have frequent meetings with manager and act like you really care about product.
