Pros

Decent hours and they're very lenient with how you operate "your online store". Everything is simple to learn but a bit of a curve when you have to do everything off script until you learn your own way of selling and servicing.

Cons

The customers. Every customer thinks it's their god given right for free shipping on their order because they decided to call you on the phone instead of placing their order normally. Lot's of coupon abuse and if they don't get their way they cry for a manager until you have to bend knee to service them. Asking for a supervisor takes a while since everyone wants them and even they don't want to speak to customers most of the time and try to feed you the information they find. This is probably only going to affect men who try to work here like myself, but, you get hung up on a lot and even talked down to a bit when trying to help a customer make a recommendation or sale. I understand not everyone shopping at VS is thinking a man is going to answer the phone but I can do the same thing anyone else can.

Pros

Discount Decent Supervisors Great Co-Workers Hours aren’t too bad

Cons

While the supervisors are great, anyone above them could be a bit better. They were offering a lot of unpaid time off because they said we were “slow”, but we never were. You are expected to answer 3 chats at once doing multiple things and it’s like a 2 person job. It was getting to the point where we weren’t getting any hours and they never gave us 40 even though we were full time. They were piling more and more work in us in chat and upping the expectations and the pay was absolutely not worth it. I think the company is declining and it’s not getting any better.

Pros

Employees discount and early knowledge of new inventory.

Cons

If anyone dislikes you they will all mess with you, managers will mess with your schedule. Employees regularly would try to embarrass you in front of customers, talk down to you in front of other employees and customers . Reduction of hours with out reason put in the worst position for your shift every shift, while others are rotated around. I personally was yelled at multiple times for my dress code but I actually wore nicer and more professional clothing than anyone else including all management. Store manager is not trust worthy if you tell her something she tells everyone and then they all treat you very badly for voicing concerns. It's a high school bully mean girl clique and new people are not treated well especially if you're very pretty and dress very well.
