Pros

Great pay, a lot of free merchandise, and great discount.

Cons

There is a ton of busy work all the time. They expect outstanding results, but then overload you with emails and busy work to complete when you should really be on the sales floor driving your outstanding results. Also, way too many promo changes. It's exhausting.

VS Marketing Analytics

Pros

The people are great and the laid-back culture fosters work-life balance. The marketing team in general promotes collaboration

Cons

Our leadership is resistant to change and tends to micro-manage; we often use recycled, legacy approaches rather than explore new possibilities, from the way our SQL is written to the reports generated. It is stifling from an analytics perspective and leads the team to function more as an IT shop than an analytics team.

Pros

discount and freebies every so often, procedures within the store fairly straightforward pretty easy job and fun environment to work in. I have been with the company three years and would say it's the perfect place for a student who wants part time hours to work.

Cons

VS never do fixed schedules unless your one of the rare people given a fixed contract. Most of the associates in store given a minimum 4 hour contract meaning during quiet periods (after Christmas) you could get only 1-2days a week. This job isn't ideal for anyone that has bills and rent to pay as the hours are not always certain. Although they tell you there is room for promotion, this RARELY happens unless your friendly with managers most of the time they would rather recruit externally. Also there is now a lot of pressure to create sales consistently as this is constantly being reviewed
