      Pros

      The pay is the best in the industry and you are selling products that are high tech and high quality.

      Cons

      They are currently split into four regions through out the US and because of that the ethics and M&P's very drastically. I have worked in 3 of the 4 regions over the last 5 years and was supprised to see how each area was crippled by the lack of "Best Practice" through out the company. Customer Care is awesome but the Sales department is definitly redonkulious when it comes to management. Although, it's common to find sharks in sales management because of the nature of the field. That is the true downside of the company.

      Verizon Wireless has great benefits and is a stable company but the leadership is awful and favoritism is very evident.

      Pros

      The benefits don't' get any better. tuition assistance, a top of the line matching 401k, health and dental.

      Cons

      My main complaint is the incompetency and unfairness of the direct leadership team. I often wonder how they. What I mean are the direct team leads and supervisors. It seems as if they are more concerned with the fact that they are a "supervisor" than they honestly do for their team. They are never there when you need them and only see them when they have to let it be known that they are supervisors.

      Pros

      Progressive powerful company. Discounts and benefits are great. Fairly supportive management. Potential to earn a lot of money if you can exceed the very high sales goals.

      Cons

      Very high quota goals. (commission job) that go up higher year over year despite traffic slowing. very little chance to advance without moving across country. Right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. People who are higher up tend to Fail upwards. when their divisions are reduced or they perform badly and their division is closed, they are promoted to other positions. Job security is limited.
