      Pros

      I was able to work from home, the hours are quite reasonable as they try and make sure you don't go over for budget reasons.

      Cons

      constant re-orgs and layoff every 3 - 6 months change of management causes you to feel like you're working backwards sometimes.

      Pros

      Great pay, great people, great service. The management structure of stores is the most professional in the retail field. The tools given to us are phenomenal! I can stand behind my product and company and truly say I am behind Verizon wireless.

      Cons

      Lots of hours, asked for perfection, constantly bugged from management about performance. It is a very stressful job.

      Pros

      Verizon is a large company, with many different areas to take for career paths. Benefits are reasonably good, though variable by division. As a large, stable company, as long as you can remain employed you don't need to worry about whether your paycheck is good.

      Cons

      There are frequent reorganizations resulting in large scale layoffs. Although in theory, employee retention is merit based, it's much more often political, or in some cases, based on removing higher paid staff in favor of lower performing, lower cost personnel. This is true across all different job titles including sales, operations, procurement, etc.
