Pros

Good products and technology. Good sales potential with lots of opportunities around compliance, auditing and security initiatives. For now.

Cons

Microscopic Management Philosophy. You will be tied to a leash at all times...like a dog. Don't expect any coaching or management assistance. New Hire training does not exist...you are on your own! High pressure, sweat shop approach to training. You WILL be fully training in a few short weeks or else. Metrics, metrics, metrics - beyond just measurement, to the point of being anal. No confidence or faith in employees - constant surveillance. Management will monitor you throughout the day, and if you aren't online watch out. From an expenses standpoint they are particularly cheap. You will have to justify everything multiple times, then don't be surprised if they refuse to pay it. Mileage requires ridiculous detail. Address, map, etc. No car allowance, so this process will eat up your time. Compensation was good, but benefits are horrible overall. No stock grant at hire. Medical and Dental benefits are below industry average. There is a 401K however. Be aware there is constant pressure to write quizzes and exams. Not necessarily a bad thing, as education is important, but they send all the results to managers all over the company! Don't fail! Based on my research since leaving, Varonis has a very high turnover rate. In terms of employee retention, I don't know why people would stay...unless you really need a job. I have heard of people leaving after a few days. I lasted a few months, but it was not a fun place to be. Ultimately, it just wasn't worth the grind. I guess if you REALLY need a job, you will suck it up. Frankly, no amount of money is worth that grind. I would rather work at 7-Eleven or Kroger!

Pros

I can only say great products and great team!

Cons

Managers with poor leadership skills. Because they were the best sales rep they think they can lead a team. They will openly show they dislike you in front of everyone and they will try to help you with more pressure. Micro management with daily harassment and your name appears on the weekly mail of shame if you are one of the bad 3 performers of your region. HR is M.I.A in EMEA regions. Unrealistic commission plans and fake promises. You are on the op of the podium today but the next day you can be out. Salary base under the market price and no team building or whatsoever.

Pros

This is a fast paced environment full of many driven, progressive, and innovative people. Somehow, you can still sense a cool, casual vibe in the air. The day passes by fast, but not without a few laughs in between. I'm learning something everyday and am fortunate to be in a position where I am able to work with many people from different countries and different departments. The perks at the office are also a nice added bonus. From healthy snack/meal options in the kitchen to professional guest speakers that can offer advice on their area of expertise.

Cons

There are a lot of moving parts and a lot of time zones to work with. This makes collaboration challenging at times.
