They don’t seem to care about employees

Pros

Ski pass, flex time, free coffee

Cons

Very low salaries, not a lot of room to advance. Not a lot of promoting from within. The company seems to rely on the fact that they are a “sexy” company to work for, so they feel employees are very replaceable. Lots of turnover in VP’s has trickled down.

Working there has changed

Pros

Employee camaraderie is strong. It was not a boring job. There was always another fire to put out or new resort acquisition.

Cons

Loyalty is not rewarded. I worked there for over 10 years, was an expert at what I did and other positions I have had held and still lived paycheck to paycheck. Benefits are good.
