- Great pay - Genuinely amazing benefits, perks, and utilities - Great culture - people across teams, projects, and countries, all tend to work together seamlessly - Amazing systems - Pretty killer stock options - Great work-life balance

Cons

- It can take time to connect with people due to time zone differences - There is a lot of ambiguity about key future decisions (return to work vs. becoming permanently hybrid, etc.) - No pay transparency

Pros

• Overall good benefits in Canada • Standard Dental and Health Benefits through Manulife • Additional 25 counselling sessions through Lyra per dependant per year • Additional Health Care Spending Account for stuff not covered under regular benefits • Additional commuter and wellness budget • Pay is on par or slightly below many top-tier companies • Great collaborative culture where ideas feel welcome and help is available

Cons

Unity is growing rapidly and going through many different growing pains. There's constant re-organization and pivoting to other priorities. But, the benefits outweigh the cons.

- work/life balance - internal mobility - possible to move from junior to senior within a few years - opportunities to take time to learn various tech stack

Cons

- almost no opportunity to grow beyond senior unless going into management - "big corporation" feeling - lack of data driven culture - pay is not top tier in San Francisco - retention of senior isn't great
