      An oil tanker - big & able to make big waves, but slow

      Pros

      Great brands, friendly and talented people, good employment policies (e.g. excellent maternity cover), sense of purpose beyond simply making money,

      Cons

      Its a massive company - this means that (a) there's a hierarchy of management and (b) the people who develop brands and marketing activities are often different to the people who deploy these activities in the marketplace. So a lot of people can influence decisions - so be prepared for plenty of structured processes and lots of stakeholder management.

      Major change in medical benefits this year.

      Pros

      Great environment to work in. Flexible work hours. Recently made a change to 3 weeks paid vacay for new hires.

      Cons

      Upward mobility is non existent. Also the benefits have really taken a turn for the worse. Low salary compared to industry average. Out sourcing NA domestic jobs.
