Pros

Free of someone looking over your shoulder every hour, if you just do your job. Free exercise. Pay is decent. Too all the people whining about how mistreated they are and how bad they have it, you need to stop. To the person crying about how it is impossible to finish the route in the time they ask you must have worked there a month at most. To the same guy complaining of getting different routes daily, DO YOU UNDERSTAND the word ASSISTANT, it means to assist. Yes you will get different routes daily to learn the routes, and then when receiving the same route later down the road you will be thankful you already did the route. Not sure why everyone thinks they are signing up for a cake job, it's not. This job will test you to the point of no return. Yes SOME post masters do not know how to interact with the CCAs, BUT if you are able to improve your performance daily they will leave you alone. The regulars will give help if you ask, but they are not going to do the work for you. If you are lazy and can not take someone telling you directly to your face and not sugar coating it how you are not doing the job well then stay away. Reading most of these negative reviews are probably from people that are lazy and sensitive. Stick with it, learn the routes, show up on time, make an effort to improve daily and you will do fine. The job is not for lazy minded people.

Cons

If you can't deal with management talking down to you stay away. Pay could be better for the work. Long hours, and sometimes working 7 days a week. When first starting expectations that might not be able to be met. If you don't finish the work asked might feel defeated. Remembering where to scan, and trying to remember the parcels when first starting.

Pros

Good money, a lot of hours, working on your own, good benefits but it can take years to get a perm position

Cons

Work 6-7 days a week and 10-12 hours a day, no time left for family or friends, supervisors are the worst I've ever seen

Pros

"Living wage" - Better starting pay than most jobs available in the area without specialized professional degrees. Long term potential if made a "Regular" career employee to have better work/life balance, better income, and good benefits.

Cons

Typically only 1 off day a week. Almost every work day is 10-12 hours. No work/life balance. No benefits. Keep your head down, and do as you're told culture.
