Good paymaster, brilliant systems and technology. If you've taken the time to understand how the system works and how to best use it to your benefit, then work is a lot easier.

Cons

I've been working here for a year, and the organisation has nothing to complain about. However, Chennai branch has not been doing well for a time and this is because of a few people here who aren't interested in bringing in new busiesses but rather make sure they can survive by doing as minimum work as possible. If your joining the sales department, be prepared to face a lot of disappointment because conversion is really hard.

Its a JOB! with benefits ...insurance, 401k, sick days, paid vacation.... lots of over time. big on safety!

Cons

Start times changes a lot, never know when you get off, went in at 5am and worked til 7pm with little or no notice, Management ... too many managers and no communication between management , employees last to be told . most of all... started out making $10.50 fours years later only making $11.50!!!! .... one last thing SCS is not union!

Pros

Overtime is often available depending on under-staffing or upper management neglect. Benefits are very good - agreed with another review that employee responsibility is low compared to other employers not named UPS. Pay is OK if you have no aspiration of improving your lot in life.

Cons

Mass exodus of experienced Supervisors and Analysts the past handful of years either replaced with inadequate inter-company candidates, or positions not filled by attrition. New talent non-existent. Corporate Red-Tape allows change at a snail's pace.
