Pros

I can honestly say the best thing about working at U.P.S is The money and benefits. (Stock, 401k, etc)

Cons

The worst thing about working at UPS would be everything but the money and benefits. The center I’m from is so poorly ran. They do absolutely no training yet punish you for your mess ups. They will hire you, train you, then never call you for your scheduled hours. You could be on call every day with no pay. Management is not nice! I mean absolutely everything about the UPS I’m from is absolutely horrible accept for the money and benefits.

Pros

* Good pay * Easy to apply and start working * Pretty safe enivronmen * Understaffed so job security is there as long as you show up and do the work everyday * You can make a lot money if you work overtime * Not much to the job... if you need some money and you are physically able to do it, it's is a good way to earn cash * Have to prove that you're a hard worker. Work hard and consistently and listen to your supervisors and more senior members

Cons

* They are really understaffed. You will be getting more work than you are capable of dealing with and they will either complain that you are not doing the job perfectly or doing it too slowly * You will be sore AF, management won't care * You will probably get injured (back, wrist, shoulder, head), good luck dealing with that without health insurance * It really doesn't matter how hard you work... they will always give you more to do then complain when you can't do it * If your supervisor doesn't like you, you're ----ed

Pros

Benefits are there for full time and part time sups

Cons

* you are NOT an actual sup. Job description on paper is no where close to real life. Part Time sups are auditors - not leaders. And part time "supervisors" get to do union work everyday -- but get none of the benefits of being union. The company screws over WHOEVER they can - including their own management. At least the laborers have a union standing between them and the company. PT sups - the lowest rung of supervisors- have no protection and the first to get 💩💩💩 on! Politically- I WAS NOT pro union coming into UPS. I've seen unions destroy companies. But UPS is not a company you want to work for unless you are PROTECTED. GO UNION. NO PT SUP JOBS! And they are threatening to fire people if they don't work over time - both union and sups.
