Pros

* Tution assistance * The work is so stressful you build a great bond between coworkers. * UPS does a geat job giving back to the community

Cons

*No time of during Christmas season * Union is a cancer to this company, it only serves as protection for the worst employees *Union employees arebetter compensated then the people who manage them *The hours managment work are unheard of at other companies. 65-70+ hours a week isnt uncommon for an On-Car Supervisor.

Pros

Pay is excellent, reputation of company

Cons

YOU ARE MARRIED TO YOUR JOB--the term, "work/life balance" is a regular theme with why people leave business development. Pretty sad as UPS has lost a lot of great people but hide under the arrogant guise of, "well, they just weren't driven enough." I thought that when I was first hired, but after seeing so many talented people leave because there was no time for their family & personal life, I completely understand. Which is why I don't work there anymore!

Pros

Company is highly recognized for its many years of solid business practices. Great to have on your resume. Some of the people are great to work with and genuinely care about the well being of others. Great health package.

Cons

Horrible pay structure. Terrible management style. No respect for hard working people who really care about the image of the company. Integrity and honesty is the thing of the past with the company. Use to be you could only loose your job if you cheat, steal, or lie which only applies to everyone that is not apart of the executive structure. Management cheat to satisfy the shareholders, they steal time and money from the employees, and they lie to appease upper management so that they look good. Hardly ever hires great talent outside the company. Will match internal talent to a different career field. Oblivious to the diaster that lies ahead. They set people up to fail by doing so.
