Pros

Pay and benefits Apart from management great bunch of drivers. Free uniforms. Laugh out extremely loud. Not much good to say about the place.

Cons

UPS is shady and vindictful. If you don't tow the line they will look for reasons to fire you. I speak from personal experience. Rampant incompetence is prevalent along with poor service. Do not use the express service, believe me you will regret it. Terrible company

Pros

Good Exercise. The pay is above minimum wage and overtime starts after 5 hours. After a year, part-time employees are eligible for health insurance.

Cons

Dangerous! The place is an OSHA nightmare. Supervisors are constantly yelling to work faster but do little to assist or actually supervise. To handle the work load and keep up with expectations, you are required to cut corners. Safety is an afterthought. Injuries and near misses are under-reported and a lot is done to discourage any worker's comp complaints. The work is rough and wears on you. Unloaders are expected to move packages weighing from 1-70 pounds at a rate of 1200 packagers per hour. if you can do lifts and squats continuously for 4-5 hours, then this is the job for you.

Pros

Salary/benefits are good. There are some great people to work with here. Company has a long history and thus is expected to be around for quite some time.

Cons

Hours 60 per week gauranteed. Production goals have gotten overly aggressive in the past few years. The company has become reactive instead of proactive
