Pros

You will never meet more dedicated, hard working and proud people than UPS people. Work from home after a year and has been extended to 2 days a week.

Cons

Zero to no work/life balance. Work from home options are now available, but you won't get promoted if you go this route. Still a good 'ol boy network that allows work to run all employees' lives. If you joined the company after 2015 benefits are not great. Women with kids have a hard time getting promoted because people don't see you as dedicated to the company. Compensation is weak for the amount of hours you put in. Top level management doesn't seem to "get it" when it comes to making quick decisions and evolving for the future.

Pros

Good atmosphere, great people, Monday to Friday, possibility to move around to other departments

Cons

No experience middle management. Some of the supervisors have no manners and are extremely unprofessional to say the least.

Pros

Work at your own pace. You are able to work on your own about 90 percent of the time. The position allows you to prospect and hunt customers using your own style or use common practices. Base pay is great and co workers are helpful and understand the products. Room for growth is very abundant.

Cons

Not all Supervisors and Managers in the office follow the same rules and guidelines. One may work with reps on issues like tardiness and attendance, the other may not. Culture of the company is very conservative, no beards and business or business casual are required. Most sales coaches and supervisors do not have much sale experience which is hard to get help on a sales strategy from them. Systems are very old and are very unhelpful when trying to find sales. There is only one internal system that gives leads which come from drivers and other sources.
