Turner has a stated well-defined culture based on the most honorable values and they employ systems based on the most sound construction management and business principles. Turner University provides tremendous opportunity for self improvement and a readily available guide to learn their systems. Financially successful management will be rewarded. Projects are among the most exciting and interesting ones being built. Salaries are generous and compensation is sometimes made for extra levels of output that are requested of an employee. Turner has within its ranks some of the finest and most talented people.
Cons
Although Turner exhibits ethical values overall, self serving paths are sometimes chosen over paths that are consistent with stated core values. Regional management sometimes heeds official requirements in appearance only. Performance reviews can be highly manipulated and more non-confrontational than to-the-point. Turner is not immune to common large company problems such as tolerated nonproductive personnel and bad eggs unknown to upper management.
