I really enjoyed the people I worked with and the support I got. I was a new teacher and they helped me settle in pretty well. Room for lots of growth personally and professionally!

Cons

Some schools are not as organized or as prestigious as others. Research the school you want to apply at and see what the demographics are, how the staff operates, the pay, etc...

Pros

Great place to work, with great people on my team. I love coming to work everyday. I would recommend Tulsa Public Schools.

Cons

The biggest obvious downside to working for Tulsa Public Schools, is that it is working for public schools in Oklahoma. We are over worked and under paid, but aren't all teachers?

Pros

Most students and coworkers are amazing people that you'll be thankful you met. Job security used to be a pro, but recent budget cuts have meant that's no longer the case.

Cons

The amount paperwork and hoops you are required to jump through to look effective actual tend to keep you from being as effective as you could be. Most administrators are ineffective and some are downright abusive.
