Pros

I started at TPT 3 years ago as an Account Executive. Since then, I have had the best 3 years of my life. Professionally and personally. Do you have to work hard, grind, and put in the time to succeed? Yes, but if you could name a job that doesn't require this in order for you to be successful then I would like to hear it. I was given advice by senior people around me who also shared their secrets on how they became successful. Did I make cold calls, yes! Did I have to be proactive in order to gain new business, yes! This is a sales role so if you do not like "selling", you will struggle. Without doing anything out of the ordinary I am now earning more money than I could have imagined 3 years ago. I have friends who work in London, in Sales, and they are jealous of my job. I have travelled to some amazing places, and attended some of the best parties imaginable. I have attended first class sales conferences and developed friends for life. I owe a lot to the past 3 years at TPT. Lastly, nobody has asked me to write this review, or even mentioned this site to me.

Cons

Not sure this is a con but it is hard work. If you dont want to put in the effort, dont expect to be a success.

Pros

Great growth opportunity. Many changes in the last year have reduced turnover based on employee input. OPen door means access to all employees to all levels of mgt up to the CEOs. Great parties.

Cons

Still needs to work on internal processes. They're working on it but not there yet. Update the HQ environment. The operations and accounting staff are more focused on how they can't help you than resolving problems. Not inspiring when you work 60+ hours a week. The T&E policy is a joke. $15 meal allowance after working 12 hours. And you have to eat it at your desk?

Pros

The company's global reach and flexibility mean that you can find a position just about anywhere in the company, and just about anywhere in the world. The culture has been shifting dramatically in the last few years, and while there is still room for improvement, it is a much more positive environment. Hours can be long, projects can be monsters, but for those willing to put in the time and effort can reap a good deal of rewards - money, job/location mobility, etc.

Cons

Long hours can make a healthy work/life balance difficult, especially out of New York. Processes can be frustrating to understand at times. Work hard/play hard mentality is not for everyone.
