Pros

The people around you. They are in the same situation and you can make amazing friends. But, is it worth it? NO. People say: you can start with this and then move on, and that is why Transperfect is still active, because people think it is alright to start at the bottom and then move on.

Cons

Everything. People come and go so quickly it is simply chaos: e-mails without answer, more hours than established, people crying... Management is awful as well, they think they are better than the rest

- The experience you get - The people you meet there (other co-workers)

Cons

- Unpaid overtime (every day, every week) - Being bullied by sales and middle/upper management - Huge amount of workload - Not being able to take a lunch break (I didn't even eat sometimes) - Scarce holidays / days off - Secretive procedures / downright lies you had to tell to your clients / co-workers - Absolutely no meritocracy

Pros

Employees are generally social, young people. Most are worth spending time with outside the office. If you are focused on a career in sales, can be extremely lucrative.

Cons

Hours are long 8-6:30 (I would be one of the first three into the office daily, but because I was one of the first to leave I took heat) and you are constantly rode by managers. I had three tasks: Building Excel Documents of prospective clients through Linkedin, sending snail mail to those clients (1000 letters per week), and calling/e-mailing those clients.
