All management cares about is the customer which is the Turnpike. They do not care about the technicians that work on their comm systems. They dont pay well enough for all the micro managing and extra triple redundancy bs that goes on to prove that techs do their job. Its a circus. Test equipment is old and out dated nor calibrated. The environment although laid back is depressing. There is zero room for growth. Cant count the measily 3 percent raise each year. If you know how to do the job, its a cake walk but otherwise, youre better off somewhere else. Theres similiar jobs out there that pay 1.5-2 times more then these penny pinchers do.
