      Pros

      The employees within the Container Store are amazing. It is a shame to have such great employees who work there and to have poor management supporting them. There is always a level of engergy amongst employees that makes the day go a little smoother.

      Cons

      Not getting enough time off for personal life, little room for advancement and the ways to reach further advancement, mismangement from the upper levels, disrespectful upper management toward employees, unsatisfactory scheduling.

      Pros

      The original company values are rock solid. You can absolutely work with customers in a way that feels right to you. If you are a person who enjoys spending time with customers, giving great customer service, doing the right thing for the customer, and get great satisfaction from doing that - work for The Container Store.

      Cons

      The bar is always being raised. One of the tenets of the company is 1 great person = 3 good people, that 1 great person needs to be prepared to be at least six good people who are very physically fit. The company sells heavy, difficult to carry, move, and reach merchandise that you better be prepared to handle and move. It is a constantly vigilant positive environment. Fly paper for highly motivated perfectionists who feel they can never be enough or do enough. The company will put you through the paces, expect you to do things that you never thought you could do , must do, in order to stay in good standing.
