Pros

Good pay rate and enough training to get you started.

Cons

Only Part time employment, insurance not the best for part timers, so many products it is hard to learn them with any expertise.

Pros

They pay pretty well, the employees are very committed to helping their customers, and everyone is pretty nice and enthusiastic about their job.

Cons

There is no difference in pay for certain employees. Some people do way more than others, like the merchandise processing truck team. These employees work an early shift and make sure the whole store looks amazing, yet there is no additional pay or anything.

Pros

Everyone was friendly. They do pay higher than a lot of other retail. Pretty flexible with scheduling. The employee discount is decent.

Cons

They tend to watch the sales very carefully and if the numbers are low they will send employees home or call them to not come in. They make you buy your shirts. With a low salary it can become expensive. Management will play favorites. The employees that work the truck unloading shift have no incentive for staying on this shift. They work the hardest and don't make enough money to make it worth the hard labor. You have to drink the Kool aid that they call training. Having a store meeting early Sunday morning to tell everyone how wonderful the company is, is not trainng. Also, they push the selling of Elfa (custom closet) but there's no incentive to sell it when a designer makes no commission. You do skilled design work and can spend hours doing it but make the same salary as the person standing at the front door welcoming customers.
