      I'm hopeful things will change

      Pros

      Love the job... the people and management. Starting pay is okay (around $12).

      Cons

      Very few hours and mostly very early in the morning... I started the 1st week of Jan. To date, I have worked a total of 10 shifts. Most days are spent merchandising and maintaining the floor, making the store look beautiful. I work every "Truck" shift. Unloading begins at 5:00 a.m.. There's not a lot of communication when it comes to "seasonal" or new employees. I was hired for "sales", however, I have only worked the floor one out of 10 days worked. My "seasonal trial" ended Feb. 26th and I am on the schedule for the following month, however, no one has taken the time to discuss my future with the company

      Pros

      Pay rate was higher than paid for comparable work in the market. Nice discount on product. Lots of training. Leadership treats the team well. An atmosphere of celebration every day. Great team to work with. Part timers were able to get insurance and other benefits. Fun place to work. I had alot of control over my schedule.

      Cons

      Very few. Like any retail job, you are on your feet all the time. Buy some good shoes and learn some good stretches to do on break. This is not a job for someone who is afraid to get their hands dirty. Everyone helps everyone and if that's not your thing, you'll hate it at The Container Store.
