Great co-workers and love the fast pace of the job

Cons

Management is terrible. They micro-manage and have no idea what The Container Store foundation principles are. They have their own set of rules they follow. No paid time off for part timers until after 2 years.

Great hourly pay. You learn A LOT. 40% discount. Flexible when you ask for time off.

Cons

Barely get hours. Favoritism. You work like a dog and will never become a full time employer unless you are part of the inner circle. Cult like culture. No benefits for part time employers.

Pros

Fair wage, although not as great as advertised. Good working conditions. Managers have great intentions, if not the greatest execution of the employee first culture. Great co-workers. Great customer service.

Cons

The management teams lacks the training necessary to be effective at delivering the culture promised. Feedback tends to be critical rather than a training tool. Managers are supervisors rather than leaders, intent on giving orders rather than communicating purpose or engaging the team in meaningful dialogue. This seems to be the result of training gaps - it's one thing to promise, and an entirely different thing to execute.
