Pros

Great people to work with, great discount.

Cons

They have lost the culture that made TCS so special. Finding ways to stay open during this crisis is not employee first. Everyone is stressed or choosing to stay home with no pay. The few stores that they couldn’t find loopholes to keep open are getting paid to stay home. Never felt so disappointed in this company. No way anyone will vote them in for Fortune 100 Best Places to Work in 2020. Sad to read Melissa’s response to Covid-19

Pros

Great leadership, intelligent coworkers. I don't feel at all micromanaged. People love the company so much, many have been there for 10, 15, 20, 25 years - in a wide variety of roles. Lots of open communication.

Cons

There is no covered parking.

Pros

Great employees to work with! I’ve stuck around longer than I should for the people. However, the last few years the company has changed and good people are quitting and replacements are not great at all.

Cons

Management has lost touch with its workers, especially part time workers; most of us work too hard for too little pay. Budget cuts have limited hours but management still demands full time availability making it hard to work elsewhere. Stores are managed top-down by the numbers and pencil pushers which makes for bad shopping experience. Many customers are upset at lack of sales associates, product on shelves, and disorganization within store. The company has invested too much money in fancy technology that doesn’t often work instead of utilizing more workers that can get job done properly. Replacement work force and new managers aren’t properly trained which creates an inhospitable work environment.
