Pros

Worked in the IFE maintenance division. Benefits aren't bad at all. Best to get your experience and either move somewhere else in the company, and if not possible, get out.Thales has a lot to offer in terms of experience not just in the US, but other countries as well. So if you can stay, learn as much as you can, and use it to better yourself and the company. But personally the low percentage raises will definitely kill you in the long run in comparison with other competitors. Thales however is still a great company to work for due to so many opportunities.

Cons

-Raises are not good enough to keep someone happy at their current position. Use it as an incentive to seek better positions from within or elsewhere. Simple.

Pros

Great personal environment to work in with many staff wanting to do well and contribute. Some progression available depending on the department you work in. Good at developing staff to a certain level.

Cons

Silo environment with much time correcting things that weren't done right in the first place because they were done in isolation. Too much corporate dictation. Development is only good until you reach middle management, no route forward after reaching this 'glass ceiling'

Pros

Health insurance way better than the old Jetblue insurance that didn't cover squat. Stable work environment...at least it seems that way from down here Pay isn't bad.

Cons

Loss of JetBlue flight privileges made half the old company literally walk out the door. Bonus system used to be great. Bonuses were awesome, now they are shrinking down to nothing. Soon they will probably be nonexistent. Raises are a joke 1-3 % a year, this is not how you treat people who have invested in themselves with education and training. No room for advancement, no where to go unless you are considered one of the "golden" children.
