Pros

As an intern I am treated as an Executive Team Leader by team members as well as the other ETLs. I've been able to take ownership of my development and have constantly been kept aware of the future leadership opportunities within the company.

Cons

The feedback is difficult to manage in the beginning for some people. I was not used to gaining such honest feedback but I have now come to value it.

Pros

Target offers a very competitive base salary for entry level work as a recent college graduate. If you are so inclined, you can learn a lot about management and how to effecively run a business.

Cons

Even though they say you are only expected to work 50 hours a week, most of the time you are working closer to 60, and sometimes more - this is especially true during the holiday season. It is very difficult to maintain a life/work balance and unless you want to move up the corporate ladder, the job can become very redundant and unsatisfying.
