Pros

-Lots of support for investigations. -They give you a lot of training and leadership knowledge that you can use to get jobs with other companies. -If you like to get feedback on your performance, Target is the place for you. Target is a feedback oriented company, so you always know where you stand performance wise. They do not hesitate to tell you what you're doing write and wrong. -Target is very diverse -You can develop very quickly. There are many store managers who are in their mid to late 20's and make six figures.

Cons

Cannot break into management without a degree. NO EXCEPTIONS! Performance is 30%, ability to BS is 70%. Expectations can be unreasonable at times. They give you a lot of puzzles to solve with no resources to help you.

Pros

The only great thing I can tell you is that the number of locations make it easier to move to where you want to move. Other than that there is no way I would work for this company as a manager.

Cons

If you management you will die on the vine, because there is no work life balance. IT'S ALL WORK, ALL THE TIME.

Cons

Little management opportunities for those who are not ETL's right out of college. Heard Wal-Mart paid a little bit more for similar position.
