      Low Pay for Important Work

      Pros

      Very flexible with hours if your a student or just looking for part time work.

      Cons

      Pay isn't that great. $9.25 to manage millions in customers accounts for Bank of America. Also telling a customer you can't refund their O/D fee because the tool said so is hard when they don't already O/D their account frequently. Everyone hated Bank of America at the Morgantown site just because of their stupid irate policies. I'm sure TeleTech is probably charging BofA $16-$20 per hour worked! Benefits should be better. Especially when it comes to vision which should be fully covered seeing that your staring at a computer screen all day long!

      The experience sent me to bed with nightmares daily

      Pros

      I had a paycheck. The hours were consistent. If you like talking on the phone and settling issues with customers, this is a fun job. You learn how to handle conflict and become a pro at conflict resolution -a much needed skill set.

      Cons

      The cost of medical care, dental care, vision was higher than I payed elsewhere. The mentality of the people I worked with was limited to people without degrees. The management were payed the same wages as the customer service reps. The management believed they were better than others, ego's were inflated. The problem solving skills involved with interactions with people were lacking, which is saying a lot since this is a company that deals with customers daily.

      Friendly co-workers, good vendor companies to work with.

      Cons

      Employee schedules maintained by "Workforce" in Philippines, they have no idea what a U.S. call schedule is.
