Pros

Good Benefits including dental, medical and vacation

Cons

No real training for employees. Must learn on your own. Do not get any help from management unless there is a complaint. Very difficult to try and get help from other departments in terms of cooperation. No one wants to take responsibility or make decisions. Important information is never givent to the employees until it is too late.

Pros

Decent health benefits package. Some post-merger work can be interesting.

Cons

Communication on major issues is poor or delayed. Announcements sometimes are vague, generating rumors. Alternatively, some decisions are foregone conclusions by the time they are made. There is still an undercurrent of "us vs. them" since the completion of the merger. The emphasis on ongoing merger activity can be a bit tedious and has strained the resources.

Pros

-Generous vacation package -Flexible schedules for part-timers -Fairly easy to get promotions in lower managment

Cons

-Poor Communication from Senior Management: During the infamous conversion in the mid-fall, I learned more about our tech issues from the news than I did from our senior management. - In the branches, the company has an unspoken segregation between the Customer Service Reps and the Teller staff. Tellers a made to where degrading uniforms and are consitently paid less the Customer Service Reps even though Tellers work worse hours and take care of the bulk of customer needs. - "New" computer systems are poorly designed, slow, and have a lot of bugs.
