Pros

Very family oriented company, Willing to work around your personal schedules. Great medical benefits for part-time employees

Cons

Management is very condescending and demeaning to their front line employees. Extremely low pay for the amount of work required of their employees. PTO for part times is ridiculous! If your store is closed, due to one of the 4 major holidays, you have to use your pto bank in order to get paid for the day, Manager, asst store manager and store supervisors are extremely lazy. They expect their front line, low paying employees to do their job. They do not know how to multi-task. Dont waste your time going to HR to report a harrassement issue, it goes nowhere! They dont even get back to you regarding the outcome of the issue at hand. Total waste of time! The harder you work for the company, the more you expect. To much favoritism amongst upper management.

Pros

- Excellent career growth if you live in a large metropolitan area - Great benefits and pension plan - Above average pay structure compared to similar jobs in the industry - TD is consistently setting the benchmark for how a bank should be run

Cons

- Senior management can be disconnected at times and often new managers have very little experience for our business model - Preferential treatment toward certain employees and promotions

Pros

Great benefits as far as health insurance

Cons

I could go on and on of how bad of a place it is to work in the call center. I don't think I ever hated a job so much in my life. DO NOT WORK IN THE CALL CENTER, it is pure hell working there. The QA people and your leadership team are paid to find something work with your calls. They get on you about your adherence which means you have to be on the phone 95% of the time. If your stuck on the phone with a customer and miss your break; there is no rescheduling of your break. If your sick or leave early it counted as call out and it also unapproved essentially it counts against you. They want you to report 15min prior to your shift so you can get login on the phone on time. You do not get paid for those 15min and that why there is a law suit facing this company.
