Pros

It depends on what branch you are employed at. The first branch i worked at was very family friendly, and everyone there was relaxed and made it a very easy place on your day to day. The manager was nice and treated people with high respect. Benefits are decent for a part time that include a 401k, pto, and health insurance.

Cons

I had to be transferred to a different branch and things got a little haywire which lead me to push away from the full time that this new branch gave me. Day to day operations were not handled well when i first got to this branch. Management didnt help either but put more pressure on us. Things changed and most of the managers from when i started is now gone. The new management while more strict and more organized is very helpful. TD bank gives its tellers SR goals. Our jobs basically depend on it. If the sales goals arent what they need to be, just get ready to be pushed out or be treated awkwardly . I have seen this with my current manager who doesnt really acknowledge these employees and its very degrading. The manager says dont bring your drama to the work place but deals his own with employees by not saying a simple hello to them. The SR is also problem because it has now turned into a competition among our branch which isnt professional. Watching people pick who is on their team when this competition started made me feel like i was in grade school getting picked in gym class. If a said tellers sales are low, then a management meeting may be called about the low SR. I have been to a few of these and instead of identifying the problem and help to solve it, i felt like it was more "just do it". No guidelines. Just a "we may not have our jobs next quarter" talk. The management also had the amazing ability to talk down on the employees. Again very degrading. Favorites are picked as well based on your sales i feel. The higher your sales the better they treat you and let you off the hook more for your mistakes.
