Pros

Great Paid Time Off and flexibility in schedules. Great depending on your surrounding employees and location

Cons

Bank opens 7 days a week so prepare yourself to work on weekends and late hours. Lack of incentive for efforts

Pros

The company has a 'we care' culture that on the surface seems quite attractive. Inside, the organization is huge, bureaucratic and somewhat political. If one meets the right people, manages well upwards and sideways, its possible to have a slow and fruitful career.

Cons

The pay is crap. They use culture to balance the lower than average pay. Even if you get started off at a decent level, once you get promoted you get a bare minimum pay raise. This will eventually put you below your peers.

Pros

The corporate culture, work life balance and humanist approach are what helps TD retain it's employees.

Cons

- Compared to the "Big Five" TD generally offers the lowest compensation packages. - TD sells itself as an equal opportunity employer, this is not always the case. - TD does not do enough to ensure it's managers provide effective coaching. - TD does not provide enough training opportunities.
