Pros

T-Mobile makes you feel that you are part of the team and that you contribute to their success. T-Mobile encourages training and has a very good internal training web site.

Cons

The pay is below industry standards. Benefits could include stock options. Bonus compensation is not worth the required effort. Employees must justify a higher than average rating for bonus compensation but management does not have to justify a lower than average rating.

Pros

It's a dynamic place and the executive compensation might be the best in the Seattle market and US wireless industry. The T-Mobile culture is better than any at get the "big, difficult intiative" done.

Cons

T-Mobile just can't seem to grow up and accept that its not a startup anymore. Big initiatives get attention but are often required by poor planning and a lack of attention to day to day management. Many of the leaders pretend to be team players, but mostly just defend their turf. Being entrprenurial is often just an excuse for individual functional areas to do what they want to do despite broader objectives.
