Pros

TMO is a great place to start if you already have a few years of experience under your belt. In the beginning, the job is pretty overwhelming, but once you get into the swing of things, life as a Recruiter is great. TMO is on the cutting edge of technology and THAT alone is pretty cool. I'd recommend TMO to anyone.

Cons

The ups and downs of the wireless industry in general can be pretty stressful.

Pros

It's got its plusses and minuses, probably the pros is that it's one of the smaller carriers (although still a big company) and therefore not as jaded or corporate

Cons

It's still pretty corporate by normal standards, if you have any experience working for a small business then working for t-mobile might be frustrating.

Pros

The pay is decent and the benefits are decent.

Cons

If you don't play office politics and get in good with your coach and go drinking and partying with them, then you become a target. They will then scrutinize everything you've ever done. They do not share knowledge with you, there is no central knowledge that everyone shares. It's every man for themself. The senior reps and coaches are rude and disrespectful. They are insulting and try to make jokes of people that are their subordinates. The management team makes this a horrible place to work. The reps dress like they are street workers and the dress code is not inforced. The building is in shambles, the tools you need never work, test phones don't even work or are non existent when you need them. If you work a weekend and need to take a Friday Saturday or Sunday off, good luck. You give back to the company your time and they don't reciprocate. Work life balance is a joke unless you get in good with someone you work with. Inconsistent scoring from coach to coach so you never get a fair shake unless you're in tight with someone. Leaders coach and develop leaders is a joke because your coach doesn't want you to be successful. There are very few coaches that live the values up there. Upper management is slimey and will smile in your face one day and then stab you in the back the next. It's worse than highschool or melrose place drama, it's a madhouse. They don't want to admit they need to do layoffs, so they find any reason to get rid of people for the most ridiculous of crap.
