Pros

They take care of their employees. Offer much better salaries than other telcos and will generally provide a lot of opportunities for internal promotions.

Cons

Too many cliques and high on politics. If you're a foreign worker, forget bout the green card. T-Mobile is easily the worst when it comes to that and many a brilliant employee has left the company frustrated.

Pros

T-Mobile has a decent pay scale and competitive benefits package. Time off is generous and company philosophy encourages a work/life balance. Environment is fast paced. People are generally willing to band together across disparate groups to accomplish company goals.

Cons

Lack of opportunities unless you are willing to move (currently on your own dime) to Seattle or Frisco, TX. Lack of available opportunities. Lack of training to keep skills current. Lack of involvement in IT department. The ITA group is under a group of software developers who have no idea what we do or how to leverage our talents. The latest initiative in our group is cleaning up after call center reps. Management of department is not open to comment or change.

Pros

Generous PTO, a paycheck, plenty of work to do, free parking, cell phone discount, the people you'll meet and lessons you'll learn.

Cons

T-Mobile lacks clarity in terms of what they're trying to accomplish. Trying to be everything to everyone while having lost touch with the heart of their business. A lot of the initiatives executed are based on the personal agenda of a few senior leaders.
