Pros

Its a job. Can be flexible.

Cons

Employees are miserable. HR is non-existent or "too busy". Facilities are unkept and disgusting. Management in every dept is incompetent and there is no structure or oversight from headquarters in Germany. Pay is low.

Poisonous working environment

Pros

Vacation time is generous Some nice co-workers Pays the bills

Cons

It was a very poisonous working environment: there were office cliques as if you were in high school. I had 5 managers in less than a year. Salary is pretty low and the health benefits offered were sub-standard. The only eye doctor I could see in 50 mile radius was in a Walmart. I didn't have the chance to grow even when there was an opportunity and even though I had proven myself worthy they recruited someone from outside of the organization. There was no transparency. Information was not communicated properly. Management from Germany did not mingle with local employees. There was someone quitting every month, sometime more often, they also sacked/retired people fairly regularly. I did give this place a chance but after 8 months of employment I actively started looking for a new job and I am pleased that this place is only a distant memory now.

Pros

Work Life Balance, and some great, great people.

Cons

"New" sales reps are brought in to grow a territory. Compliance is a two year selling cycle, 6 months is not realistic as a ramp up. The veteran sales reps do not prospect. The new reps prospects are dissolved and absorbed by the veterans. Unless you get one of the veteran/sr. sales rep territories with existing accounts, consider this a temporary job.
