Pros

Hours are good. Not bad pay. Coworkers are a diverse mix.

Cons

Very disrespectful senior management. Refuse to promote from within at store level.

Pros

Nice waterfront location, a few really decent people at the lower levels, nice brands with great heritage

Cons

Poor senior management in the US, not merit-based, rewards given to personal favorites, arcaic HR practices, a culture that pride's itself on bullying and creating obsticals where there are none, blocking of talent and promotion of incompetents, dead wood clogging the system, arronance

Pros

The management of the company on a retail, regional and corporate level provides rich material for a comedian or a management consultant. I have worked for some troubled companies but Swatch is in a class of its own.

Cons

Swatch is a poorly organized company. The quality of management is unbelievably bad. The people in charge of promotional events finished strong as the biggest joke in the Swatch organization. I would never return to Swatch. Pay and benefits are are rock bottom.
