Great place to work, when in the standard product group. In the engineering group, there were a lot of talented people. The manufacturing floor was a great place to learn and try out new things. The custom Contract group was a little more old school though. More of a focus on really making a prototype correct and sell it to the customer. Great place to be a leader and learn.
Cons
For me it was too Slow of a pace, a little too focused on one aspect of business. Sales didn't seem motivated enough. in a good economy when things are expensive to manufacture in the US then the Luxury industry gets hit hard. Getting told I had to move from one department to the next. Not my decision.
Excellent company. I worked as Area Sales Manager for 12 years. I increase the sales revenue of the giftware and jewelry business in my region. I opened 8 stand alone stores and roll over over 100 Open Sales Units.
Cons
I do not have anything negative to say about Swarovski.
