Pros

The product is remarkable; the jewelry allocation was one of the best perks. You would always feel so classy and professional working at this beautiful sparkling store. As far as Pros go, that's pretty much it.

Cons

At first, everything was great- until I started seeing the real colors of the management team. I got promoted to full-time & was transferred to another store. The new store I got transferred to was under horrible management. Management that could cause serious legal issues. I expressed myself with the Area Manager, as well as the District Manager & they kept reassuring me things would get better- to just wait. My new manager was so aggressive on the sales floor, she would belittle her staff, even make them dress a certain way. She would even say things like "you need to put lipstick on, your make-up isn't heavy enough", she even commented on a co-workers weight. Actually she turned down several girls, because of their weight. I kept telling these things to those above me, I felt uncomfortable. I was hopeful things would change, but nope. Nothing. They made leaving impossible, since I wasn't happy anymore. Last I heard, nothing has changed- in fact now they're trying to get HR involved but nothing has changed. Such a shame, professionalism has gone to nothing.

Pros

The benefits are good as compared to other companies. They include healthcare, for spouse and for your children.

Cons

Hierarchy is pretty flat in the company. Your position doesn't change much after years of employment.

Pros

They allow you to wear a piece of jewelry while working to "advertise" the product..... Fun location.

Cons

You can't wear your own jewelry. The boxes for everything are so disorganized, and all piled high in a set of cabinets. Each item MUST be put in it's specific box, with only numbers to identify it by. if you have no idea where to look, you're searching for a long time. Strict sales goals to meet each month. You're flat out told you'll be fired if you don't reach it. Expected to harass, annoy, and basically scare customers away. I was disciplined, had shifts taken off the schedule, and told to study the employee guide on my break, all for not further pushing a customer who was already visibly annoyed at my persistence. Staff is quick to leave you on your own, and at my particular location, watched me on camera from another location.
